A tanegashima from EDO peroid Matchlock pistol TO BE ABOUT 1600 +. metal is rusted some, I did not try to refurbish, Wood stock had been broken and repaired at some point. Trigger and matcklock mechanism works, power receptical is rusted shut, I did not try to force open. There is one of two inlays on barrel, black onyx carved as a rose with a GOLD center in lay.
