Payment Types Accepted: Credit Card, Cashiers Check Description: This gun started life as an 1860 percussion Colt and was later (1871-72) converted to a drilled thru 44 Colt cal.It was renickeled when barrel was shortened and no real cylinder scene present but barrel and frame markings are fine.. Grips are superb with lots of original varnish. Bore is mint. Barrel is 3". Most all of the nickel is present. Action like new. Great pocket gun with large bore. Would be great at a cowboy shoot. Lots of famous wild west characters were armed with one of these conversions, Really low serial number 132 is matching on all the parts. Caliber is 44 Colt center fire round. Antique so can be sent right to your door. Made as percussion gun in first year of production , 1860. Gun comes with an antique rig that includes the older style roller buckle cartridge belt and a double loop completely tooled holster that dates to the same time frame as the gun. A great gunfighters or gamblers rig from 1870-80's.
