What a wonderful early pre WW1 Commercial 1911 in 45 ACP. The workmanship on these early commercials, given that they were one of the most expensive handguns in the Colt line up at the time, is truly amazing. This example has survived is top of the heap condition retaining almost all of the original Colt blue except for some patina on grip straps and a bit of wear on end of muzzel and some really minor softening of finish on high edges. Mint bore and action. Near mint original walnut diamond checkered grips. It has to rate at least 95% brilliant Colt blue overall , About as nice as you will ever see one short of new in box. Has the original Lanyard magazine.
