Description:
Standard parkerized Ithaca model 1911 Government WW11 model 45. Retains about 95% of the parkerized finish, dark dull bluish black finish, with most wear on end of muzzel. Perfect markings. Minty bore and perfect action. Nice uncracked grips.Gun was taken down and there is an HS for high standard on barrel lug with a P. There is a 1 on right side of trigger guard. FJA and an F on left side of frame. Checkered trigger and serrated hammer. Dark on front of barrel about 2" from heat treatment, just a shade darker than rest of gun. Looks to have been arsenal refinished at one time as there is finish on trigger guard over some marks unless it was just originally poorly or quickly polished. The arched main spring is serrated and I have been told that the grips are not K grips as there is no ring of plastic around them. Hope this answers everyones questions. SALES HOLD
