FINE PENNSYLVANIA RIFLE WORKS PERCUSSION .45 CAL. FULL STOCK TRADE RIFLE CIRCA 1840. 55” o/a with 40” deeply rifled octagon barrel. Lock signed “PENNSYLVANIA/RIFLE WORKS”(Pittsburgh). Walnut stock with brass mounts. Double set triggers. Extra fine condition with all the crisp patina on the metal and all the stock finish. Very good plus bore that will clean even better. Lock in working order. Exceptional condition for one of these California Gold Rush period rifles.
