Description:
Here's a very nice Martial marked Henry Rifle. Shows good period of use wear with no abuse. This one has been there and done that. The brass receiver is a dark mustard color thats never been cleaned. The stock shows bumps and bruises as it should with no cracks and comes with the early rounded buttplate. The barrel has no finish left and is a nice mottled grey patina with the later front sight. The bore is dark with some pitting but still retains strong rifling. Made in 1863, this gun, serial number 3710 probably went to the 1st DC cavelry. Has both the barrel and receiver sights which is rare in itself. There are no sling swivels ever attached. This rifle is in as found condition having never been fussed or messed with for over 150 years.   It is an early brass frame and dates to the Gettysburg era mid Civil War . It is about as honest and clean a gun as one could hope for and given the rarity and collector interest in this era of Henry rifles,  it would be hard to find one this solid.  Gun will be shipped right to your door overnight express insured in a hard case and no paper work is needed.  It can be sent to most foreign countries as well.
