The buyer assumes the responsibility for transfer fees or background check fees that the receiving dealer will charge. It is also the buyer's responsibility to insure that the dealer will accept the firearm(s). We encourage that the buyer contact the dealer before we transfer the gun to them for pick-up to insure that there are no problems with your transfer. If the dealer refuses to accept delivery of your firearm, you will be responsible for shipping charges to recover the firearm and reship it to a dealer that is willing to receive it.

Description:
This is a 1978 Remington 870 Wingmaster that has been converted into the old Police style models before Remington offered them. This shotgun has the original walnut stock that has been stained ebony and finished with a military type matte oil finish. The pressed checkering has been professionally cut by a gunsmith into diamond pattern checkering.
Installed is a brand new old stock Wingmaster 20" barrel with a +3 Magazine tube extension both of which cost over $200. It has a 3" chambered and a fixed choke of improved cylinder with a ramped bead front sight. Less than 50 rounds have been fired since the conversion has been done.

This firearm is clean and oiled inside and out, only real signs of wear on the the receiver, some speckling from past rust and a few scratches here and there. The stock, barrel and magazine extension are basically new.
Also included is the original magazine cap and spring if you'd like to remove the magazine extension to use it for hunting.
