The piece is built around the 1909 Argentine Mauser and was heat treated accordingly, It has a 26" Lothar Walther barrel with a New England Custom Gun (NECG) island rear sight with 1 standing & 2 folding blades, A band front ramp with a night sight by NECG, Barrel Band swivel, A NECG bolt sleeve with a Model 70 3-position wing safety, EAW quick detachable lever release scope mounts with 30MM scope rings, Schmidt & Bender 1.5-6 x 42 Zenith scope, A straddle hinged London Guns belly magazine with center bow release and a 4 round capacity, 3 panel teardrop bolt knob checkering, A modern and adjustable NECG trigger, Satin blue finish, Classic style stock with point pattern checkering, A crossbolt at the recoil lug, Ebony forend tip, Steel grip cap, A 2 screw tiedown rear sling eye, European shadowline cheekpiece, 14 1/4" LOP over a 1" pad with a 1/4" spacer, 9 lbs. 7 oz. with a mercury recoil reducer in the butt, 10 lbs. 15 oz. with the S&B, Overall the gun remains in 92% condition since it left the capable hands of Duncan's Gunworks, The bore is as new, This gun will shoot Woodleigh 400 grain bullets into a cloverleaf at 100 yards with 77 grains of RL-15 and do it at 2350 fps. This piece is ready to go to Africa; it needs an airline ticket, a tough travel case but most of all it needs you.
