Description:
This is a nice all matching number Colt S.A.A. 7.5” Frontier 44-40 revolver with a Factory Letter and etched panel. It is serial number 51951, is all matching numbers and was shipped in 1880 to Hartley & Graham, NY. All of the markings are sharp and crisp and the etched panel is clearly visible. The grips retain 95% varnish, the metal 25% blue and 20% case colors. The bore and cylinder are excellent and the mechanical function is excellent. This Colt is all original, exceptionally nice and crisp. It has a three line patent date on the frame and has not been buffed.
