Cased Colt 1848 Baby Dragoon. Beautiful gun with 6” barrel and about 95% of the blue in the barrel. Case colors are present but are muted. Baby Dragoons never had really bright case colors. Cylinder scene is excellent, so are the grips. Gun is in an unusual old case that resembles a Paterson case. There was a baby Dragoon case that was done similar to this. Instead of fitting properly, the bottom right part of the case is notched out to accommodate the butt of the gun. It was done in period of use as it is lined just like the rest of the case. Baby dragoon are hard to find with any condition and this is a first rate gun!
