Scott.  30" Damascus barrels inscribed "The Premier Extra Special".  Finest star pattern Damascus, the bores are perfect and choked full and full and remain black powder proof.    The gun features all of the Scott patents, intricate doll's head triplex patent lever grip, Scott patent block safety, crystal indicators, breech face gas checks, and showcases the pinnacle of W.C. Scott design.  Built in 1887, this is the may be the only Premier Extra Special known.   The action and locks are profusely engraved in a semi-relief foliate design of 100% coverage.  Triggers and locks are gold plated.  A unique and special model, chiseled fences, barrel breeches and rib follow through with the deep carved foliate motif.  The semi-pistol grip stock of the finest exhibition French Walnut measures 14-1/2" to the original buttplate.  Everything about this gun exhibits the highest level of craftsmanship and design of the day.  Weighs 7lbs, 12 oz.  Cased in oak and leather with lift out tray.  Likely the most expensive gun manufactured in that era.
