Hopkins and Allen XL No. 3 five shot 32. rim fire shot revolver with a nickel plated finish and nice walnut grips. Most of the original nickel finish remains on the frame... Marked “Hopkins & Allen co. Pat. Mar. 28, 1871” on the barrel and “XL No. 3 .” on the top strap. Hammer does not stay cocked, cylinder advances with good lockup. Nice New York Style engraving.
