- This Browning express African rifle, 470 Nitro Express, was custom built by Alin el Serge Parthones, Belgian Master Armorer. It started its life as a shotgun in 1952, and was modified starting in 2012. It features a 23" quarter rib barrel etched with "Browning Alin Parthones Belgium". It also has 2 folding sights and 1 gold leaf standing sight..
- Other features include gold line inlay and spectacular Bolino African Big-Five game scenes on the coin finish side plates and on various other surfaces, including the trap door grip cap done by Master Engraver Rocco Capece.
- The stock is made from beautiful Dark Exhibition Turkish Walnut, with a 3-piece fore-end, and hand rubbed oil finish.
- The gun weighs 9 lbs 4 oz, and comes with leather trunk-style case.
- The firearm is new with only proof shells fired through barrel. The proof target is included.
- Mr. Parthones is well known in the Belgium Guild society and has been contracted by Browning as a Master Barrel Maker.
- Mr. Capece’s work has been featured on the cover of ‘Browning Superposed’ along with Browning Master Stock Maker Robert Stock, who did the exquisite checkered stock.
