Please visit global-firearmsc.om for more antique guns. This is one of the rarest variations of Colt revolvers, a 44 Thuer cartridge conversion. The gun is in good overall condition, with no original finish left and some scattered pitting but all stamps and serial numbers are clear. The gun is in a correct serial number range for Thuer converion( 170,000-200,000) and is all matching except unnumbered wedge. Cylinder number is illegible. Action is tight, bore is very good. Most of the original varnish is present on the grips. Wood to metal fit is tight. This is a scarce revolver with a book value that starts at $ 4500. No license needed to buy except NJ residents.
