It seems that even though Marlin made the Models 1891 and 1892 in both .22rf and 32,  you only see the .32 caliber models and even though they fired both rim and CF, they usually turn up in rimfire.  Here is a high condition Model 1892 (model 92 on tang) in 22 caliber.  It is a standard rifle in all respects with a 24" round barrel and take down tube. Receiver retains about 90% of the high luster blue with some plum on top and bottom. Barrel retains most of its original blue while the tube is basically blue/brown. The walnut stocks are excellent with no cracks or chips.  No bulls eye.  Marlin logo rubber butt plate.  Excellent bore.  Brilliant case colors on hammer and lever. Serial #305022 was made in 1904 according to Marlinsite.  Barrel is not marked but we test fired and it shoots only the .22 short. which fires and cycles like butter. C&R
