Description:
This is a beautiful all original Winchester Model 1876. It is a standard rifle with 28" round barrel and full magazine in 45-60 caliber. The left side of the receiver retains at least 85% of that fine high polish reflective blue collectors love, not the dull and rough blue that has lost its luster. The right side has at least 50% and what is not blue is a nice bluish brown plum color, not silvered out. Barrel and tube have exact same amount of finish and mirror the receiver in that they have lots of blue with balance beginning to plum. Rear sight is ladder style. Walnut stocks fit metal like a glove and do not have any cracks or chips. Trap door butt plate. Brilliant blue on loading gate. Traces of case on hammer and lever. Fine clean bore with good strong lands and as new action. Even the forend cap has at least half the brilliant blue starting to plum. SALES HOLD
