S/N 100346 Standard Model 1899 Military Musket chambered in 30-40 Krag. Retains most of it's original blue with the magazine, trigger guard, and barrel bands turning a brown patina. Wood is very good with the usual handling dents. The 30-40 caliber is actually quite hard to find on the market and seldom seen at any of the larger gun shows and given the caliber, should be a great shooting gun. Bore is strong and action works like new. No visible military or naval stampes present. C&R
