Description:
Serial #E1591, .303 British, 22" barrel with a fine bore that has some minor freckling within the grooves. This rifle is very similar to the Santa Fe Model 1941 Supreme but is Parker Hale marked with Birmingham proofs at the breech. The metal retains 98-99% of the original blue while the brightly finished bolt has a small amount of freckling on the handle. The left side of the receiver has a series of drilled and tapped holes for mounting a scope mount just ahead of the base for the no longer present clip guide. The checkered walnut forend is mated to a pistol grip buttstock with Monte Carlo cheek-piece and recoil pad. There are small blemishes and minor handling marks throughout the original varnished finish. A five round sporting magazine is fitted and the rifle rates very good-near fine condition. FFL or C&R
