Description:
Serial #U4812, 7.62mm NATO (.308 Win.), 25” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is an R.F.I. Ishapore-made, 1967 dated rifle and has retained about 85-90% of the armory re-applied Suncorite finish on the metal with gray fading and flaking along the exposed edges and projections as well as along the head and bearing surfaces of the matching numbered bolt. The typically blocky Indian nosecap is also numbered to the gun, as is the underside of the forend. The forend as well as the handguards and “S^A/I” marked buttstock have been arsenal refinished to very good plus condition with only scattered small handling marks and surface blemishes as well as a small rack number painted onto the left side of the butt: “14”. A single unnumbered magazine is included and there is a small unobtrusive import stamp on the right side of the receiver.
