LIEGE PERCUSSION 12 BORE EXPRESS RIFLE CIRCA 1860. 45” o/a with 29” Damascus octagon to round 7 groove rifled barrel. Two leaf folding rear Express sights. Liege proofs on underside of barrel and a rectangular maker’s touch mark stamped “MB” within. Engraved lock, hammer, barrel tang and mounts. Very good overall with medium grey patina and a few small spots of very fine salt and pepper. Lock in perfect working order and has an excellent, bright bore. A very good prospect for restoration.
