Description:
Remington Rolling Block Rifle. NVSN, .43 Spanish not 45-70 caliber, 35-inch round barrel with block-and-post front and ladder rear sights. Varnished hardwood buttstock with two sling swivels, three barrel bands and curved steel buttplate. Initials crudely carved into right side of stock near breech. Condition: Good. Steel a mottled gray-brown patina with scattered patches of light pitting, staining and light surface rust. Maker's mark on upper tang not legible. Stock good but with scattered spotting and staining under a newer coat of varnish. Cleaning rod absent. Good bore showing wear and light pitting.Would make a great long range shooter
