Antique Colt SAA Flattop Target .455 Eley, 1895, W/Colt Letter. Stock # FLATTOP C-EE. Serial # 162897. For the very Advanced Collector or museum, this is a Colt Single Action Flattop Target Revolver with a very rare .455 Eley chambering. The pistol has a 7 ½” barrel with high target sights, it was manufactured in 1895, so the pistol is an Antique. The pistol comes with a Colt Factory Letter, confirming the .455 Eley caliber, and showing that the gun was shipped to Colt’s London Agency in May, 1902. The pistol has all 4 cylinder cocks, and all Colt markings are crisp and legible, serial numbers are all matching. The pistol has a factory blue finish and standard SAA grips. There is a fair amount of finish wear on the pistol, however some of the screws still exhibit the original fire bluing. The bore is mirror-shiny with strong rifling. This pistol represents an outstanding opportunity for the Advanced Collector to enhance his/her collection! The pistol comes with the Colt Letter, no other accessories.
