Here is a desirable AH Fox Super Fox ready to go back to the duck marshes! Nice stout solid double in far above average condition for a HE grade Super Fox. This gun has seen use but has not been abused. Much original blue on 30" barrels with some bare spots. RT barrel has 5-6 scrapes/gouges about 8" ahead of breech, purely cosmetic. Nice mirror bores. Barrels ring nicely, ribs tight. Good sharp barrel markings & address. Steel bead. 2 3/4" chambers. RT 736 bore 25k choke 36k MWT LT 735 bore 49K choke 36k MWT It's nice to find a Super Fox which is not Full & Fuller... these are perfect game/hunting chokes. Nice receiver has gone to grey with original case colors in protected areas of top & bottom tang. Perfect screws!! Engraving good. This gun locks up very tight in typical Fox fashion. Top lever slightly left of center, not an issue. Automatic safety. Strong automatic ejectors. Gun weighs in at 8# 10 oz Condition of the wood is far above average for a Super. Straight grain walnut, good original checkering. 1 3/4" DAC 3" DAH 14" LOP over a replacement pad. Very minor stable 1/2 hairline crack/check at the top of the RT stock cheek. Very minor and an easy wood repair. Forend very nice, sound, uncracked. No extra holes in wood or metal on this gun. Additional pix at Fox River Sporting.
