Search the internet and you will find many CE grade 12ga. guns to choose from, but none like this one!  Many that are offered for sale have been used hard, screws buggered up, totally restored, stocks cut with pads added, or even re-wooded.  This fine Fox, sn18878 built in 1911 (the "golden years" of Fox with Ansley still at the helm making some of the finest Fox guns ever built) came from the factory with a finely figured English style butt stock, 30" barrels with an extra wide rib, high modern stock dimensions, and still retains 75% factory case colors, superb sharp engraving, perfect wood to metal fit, strong ejectors and crisp triggers; everything mechanically excellent!  Not a heavy gun at 7lbs. 6oz. and #3 weight barrels, it points and handles like a fine English gun.  I see a lot of Fox shotguns, and this one is special indeed.  It came from the factory with a 16 1/2" LOP and a Silvers pad!  It now is 14 5/8" to a Fox butt plate.  If you ever wished for a Fox with a long length of pull, we can get 15 3/8" with a Silvers pad...a long LOP indeed for an early Fox.
