Winchester 53 .25-20 W.C.F. caliber rifle. Manufactured approximately 1927. Serial numbered in the 1892 range. Excellent bore. Barrel and takedown tube have about 98% blue. Receiver has about 25-30% blue with the rest thinning to a blue-brown patina. Wood is very good with minor nicks. Action is tight and works smoothly and perfectly. Note: This is a takedown model.
