Mauser 98 custom chambered in .30-06. This rifle features a 24" barrel, low through safety, Williams adjustable rear sight, fixed ramped front sight, drilled and tapped for one piece base, bent & checkered bolt handle, re-shaped military bottom metal, glass bedded, jeweled finished bolt, Birdseye maple stock, Cocobolo forend tip, sling swivel studs and a LOP of 13-5/8". This rifle was built on a WWI 98 action and had some pitting that was not completely taken out. The rifling is sharp and has a bright bore. The Maple has good Birdseye coverage and it is all most imposable to get this type of Maple now.
