Mauser 98 8x57 Mauser caliber rifle. Produced in 1918 by Mauser Werk Oberndorf for the German military. Sold by the Germans to Turkey and has a cresent moon on the receiver. Matching serial numbers except for the bolt which is Czech made. The bore has strong rifling and is only slightly dark int he grooves. The wood is good with dents and dings. Has an original cleaning rod. Very good condition.
