Description:
I'm selling one of my grouse guns and I know I'm going to regret it but I have too many right now. This is a Grulla Model 215 K in my personal favorite 28 gauge. It was built in 2003. This particular gun has 28 inch barrels and they are choked cylinder and .005 (light Improved Cylinder), just perfect for grouse, quail, and woodcock. This gun has all the bells and whistles, hand detachable sidelocks which are jeweled and polished on the inside, rounded frame so no sharp corners, bushed firing pins, rolled trigger guard, articulated front trigger, drop points, and wonderful hand engraved coin finished receiver.  If you are reading this you know about Grulla and the fact that they only make a few hundred guns per year and they don't make any "low end" guns. This gun is straight english grip, splinter forend, and checkered butt. Stock dimensions are 1 1/2 X 2 1/2 X 14 7/8. Action is still super tight with lever well to the right of center. Locks are clean as a whistle and just lubricated. Trigger pulls are exceptional as is the automatic safety. There are a very few light marks on the wood and a few marks on the left barrel as if it rubbed on a coat zipper. These marks can be seen in the picture of the barrels. Bores are smooth and measure .549 both barrels.  This gun is set up as an upland bird gun that you can carry all day at 5 pounds 12 ounces and balances nicely between the hands. Price of the gun is $4500 plus $75 shipping to your FFL. There is a three day non-firing inspection period on the gun with the buyer paying shipping charges if returned. Gun comes in a hard case with the Grulla Label inside. This gun shoots perfectly and you won't have any excuses if you miss a grouse with it this fall. You can contact me  with any questions or to purchase the gun.
