Merkel 2116EL 16 gauge O/U shotgun. One owner, purchased new in July of 2008 and the owner barely used this gun! 28” barrels with solid rib and choked VBZ (.009) and ½ (.016) and beautiful 3-piece forearm. Game scene, signed, hand engraved receiver with flawless coin finish. Round knob pistol grip stock 14 1/8” LOP, 1 3/8” DAC and 2 3/8” DAH with a very slight cast favoring a right hand shooter. It has a single selective adjustable trigger. This gun is 98%+ overall with the only visible wear being on the top edge of the safety button and on the top edge of the opening lever. The gorgeous stock and forearm appear to be tightly grained French Walnut and they have almost a dark mahogany color with black variegated highlights throughout. Weighs 6 lbs. 8 oz. and is balanced just behind the hinge pin. Comes in original box with all paperwork. If you are looking for a very fine 16 gauge O/U…this is it!
