Browning Model 1886 "Montana 1 of 2000" caliber 45-70 26" Octagon barrel, open Buckhorn sights, Full length magazine holds 8 rounds. Reciever and Lever are grayed steel. Reciever is embellished with elegant scroll engravings. The right side of reciever is engraved with Montana 1889 1989, One of 2000 and walking Grizzly bear, all done in 24ct Gold. The left side of reciever is engraved with State seal of Montana 1889-1989 with a Bison inside an Outline of State of Montana again in 24ct Gold. The photos due not show depth and quality of the reciever engraving on this rifle. Rifle is stock with Beautiful High Grade Walnut with Hand Cut Checkering finished in High Gloss. Saftey on this gun is Hammer in Half Cock Position, Just like the Originals!! The 1886 rifle was John M Brownings first Lever action repeater design. Many regard it "His Best Design"!!
