As you can see by the photos that the box reads adapted to the .38 S&W MILITARY REVOLVER ,which I believe came out in 1899. So they must be very early .38 Specials and they are loaded with Kings Semi-Smokeless Powder. And the bullets are nearly loaded flush with the cartridge cases.Someone told me they were target rounds and they are stamped MID-RANGE on ends. The box shows its age but is all there except for one end on lid. SALE PENDING
