Description:
This combination gun has it's original box and papers! The pistol has a 18 inch barrel. This gun can shoot 22 rim fire ammunition on the top barrel. The bottom barrel can shoot Two and a half inch 410 shells as well as 44 W.C.F. ammunition in it's various loadings interchangeably. The sights are original and unaltered. The bores are bright and clean. The wood grips are intact with no damage or loss. The folding stock locks and works correctly. The hammer selector works correctly. The color case on the hammer is strong and good looking. This pistol would rate a 98% original condition. The original box label is intact with a little loss at the corners. The top box cover is intact. the inside box has a small corner section loss due to the barrel muzzle rubbing there in long time storage. The original instruction sheet is there with it's protective jacket bearing the pistol's serial number. Also a Marble's pamplet advertising their wares dated 1930 as well as other papers. The leather holster is also there with the adjustable shoulder strap. The holster shows some use. There are no repairs, loose stitching or damage to the holster. This whole assembly is stored in a really nice custom made wood box that protects the original box, gun, papers and holster. This is a great way to store and display this Game Getter. The serial number is in the 18 thousand range. This is a really great find for the Marble's collector as well as the firearms collector. To have a Game Getter with it's original box, holster and papers is a truly amazing find! this would be very difficult to "top" in a collection! Due to the weight and size of this set there is a shipping fee of seventy dollars that will be added to the final sale of this pistol. I also have a full original box of 44 round ball Game Getter ammunition by Robin Hood Ammunition Co. See this box on my Collectable Boxed Ammunition Listing.  Search for Harry Viezens on google.
