Description:
Very high quality gun from Austria's famous Ferlach makers. Full-coverage exquisite bird scenes relief-engraved on all three sides of French Gray scalloped receiver, as well as scroll-engraving on trigger bow, tang, and Deeley latch. Automatic tang safety, automatic ejectors, with Greener third fastener. Bbls absolutely tight on face, 27"x 2 3/4" Bohler steel, have perfect bores and sport a gorgeous fresh rust blue. Bores measure L 720/695 (IM) R 718/695 (IM). Forcing cones have been lengthened. Stock has straight grip, perfect 22LPI checkering and finish, LOP is 14" through adjustable Morgan buttplate, drop at comb is normal 1.5", moderate cast-off. 7lb gun, proofs indicate 1949, would cost north of $10K to build today.
