Winchester, ANTIQUE, lever action carbine, Model 1892, caliber .25-20?, s/n 145872 (Mfg. 1897), 19 1/2" barrel, carbine has been rebarreled with a 3/4" diameter barrel, EXCELLENT BORE, no finish remaining on metal, wood has no cracks and appears to have been varnished over, REALLY A GREAT LITTLE ANTIQUE CARBINE TO SHOOT OR DISPLAY, gun appears fine but will be sold as a collector's item only, we think it's a 25-20 but purchaser must agree to have caliber and functionality checked out by a competent gunsmith if he intends to fire it, Retail value $1750.00, Sale priced at $1495.00 SALE PENDING- PLEASE DO NOT INQUIRE
