Early Anson & Deeley action gun with Greener's "machine engraving" on action, otherwise unembellished, in excellent mechanical condition, tighter than new (rejointed by the traditional wedge method), perfect screws, sound wood w strong original checkering, good stout barrels, ready for work at 6 3/4#. 30"x2 3/4" damascus bbls R 737/728 (IC), L 737/723 (light mod), a few inconsequential blotches in R bore nr chamber, L bore clean & bright, damascus pattern clear but showing surface corrosion in places on both bbls w 2 scratches on L. LOP 14 3/8" thru original horn plate, drops 1 7/8" & 2 7/8", 1/8" cast off. Recent small repair to stock toe, silver oval w fancy monogram. Action just lubed. A modest gun ready to go afield, that would benefit from a barrel rebrown.
