Payment Types Accepted: Credit Card, Cashiers Check Description: During the 1950's, a few M1 Springfields were sold to the Italian government and converted to the .308 Nato round by replacing the barrels with a Beretta made .308 barrel, a new trigger assembly and a conversion block in receiver. The receiver is a Springfield #3362633 (1944). Original stock has eagle and stars cartouche (found on all M1-D sniiper rebuilds 1951-60) and P under wrist. number 43 painted in white on stock. Original blued M-84 scope serial number 14714 and original mounts (parkerized) . Optics are perfect. Bore is strong and shiny. wood is superb. Trigger assembly is stamped D28290-BMB. National match op rod (stamped NM) is stamped 7790722-RA. Has the M1-D shank. Cannot find any stamps on barrel. Bolt is stamped D-28237PB (Beretta). Magazine block is stamped with C.
