PLEASE NOTE THAT I WILL CONSIDER FINE GUNS IN PARTIAL OR FULL TRADE FOR THIS ITEM. Please note that this Sable is not the Giant Sable which is an endangered species. This is the standard African Sable and while expensive and difficult to hunt, with a high degree of failure, it is not an endangered species. This is a very nice shoulder mount and a nice animal. It is hanging in my guest cottage as you see it in the photos. I can not tell you the actual size or measurements as it is hung high and I am 75 years old and not about to try to climb up and measure it. I included the last photo so that you could judge its size next to the full size wildebeest and full size Tsessebe, which will also be listed for sale in separate listings. Please check your state laws before buying to make sure your State does not have any laws that would keep you from owning this fantastic trophy mount. Payment for this sable mount will only be made through wire transfer within five days of purchase and once paid, the sale is final. I am 75 years old and will use the money from the sale of this lion to pay off my mortgage so no return will be allowed and no adjustment to the purchase price will be made, as the purchase price is set exactly at my mortgage amount, and I am content to keep him in my man cave, if he does not sell for the specified amount. When you consider that a sable hunt can run over $20,000 and most likely you will not be successful in shooting one, or you will bring home a younger sable than this one with shorter horns, it makes sense to stay home, put this nice mount in your trophy room, and take another great hunt for another species with the money you save by purchasing this sable. This item is being sold "as is" and is not returnable. No adjustment will be made after sale. I am 77 years old and my sales are final. Please do not buy it unless you agree to these terms.
