Description:
A superb example of the best craftsmanship in gun making, this Beretta , serial no. 26812, bears the code legend
XVII, which indicates 1962 as its year of manufacture. The chiseled engraving is by Angelo Baglionni (p. 46 of
"The World of Beretta" by R.L. Wilson). Hand detachable locks. It remains with all of its original blue on the barrels, and even
includes the original chamois barrel sleeves. Barrels I and II are 28 5/8 inches in length with .726" bores, choked:
#I: .015 under .027; #II: .005 under .002; Barrel III is 29 1/2" , bored .726, choked .040 and .040. The stock,
of stunning figure, has a LOP of 14 1/2" , with drop of approximately 1 1/4" x 2". Gold inlays: pheasant, duck and
Capercali Grouse, medallion on trigger guard, gold crown on lever (perforated) and the numerals I,III,III on ribs. Weight
with long barrels is right on 8lbs. Original oak and leather case is excellent overall and includes the key. Price reduced .
