Description:
Here is a lovely and quite scarce special order 1894 SRC in 32-40. It features a Winchester logo shotgun butt, saddle ring with Slidin Lyman receiver sight. The 20" barrel and tube retain at least 98% of their original factory high polish blue finish. The receiver has at least 70% of its original high polish luster with balance turning a nice soft patina. The slidin Lyman has been on this gun since day one, you can tell by blue underneath. The sight works perfectly, it is adjusted so that it locks into place before it hits the saddle ring making this one heck of a combination of sight, shotgun butt caliber and condition. No rust or blems anywhere on this fine gun. Bore is mirro bright as new. Action is tight as a drum. Wood is georgous, never sanded with all the varnish and no chips or cracks anywhere. Gun was made in 1908. One sweet little 32-40 carbine that will not dissappoint. It comes with an excellent period marked Al Furstnow Montana Saddle Scabbard. C&R
