Description:
SN 198173 bright, excellent bore is found on a M&P 1905 3rd change revolver. Cal .38 Special 6" barrel. This piece shows 90 to 93% bright original blue. Most loss is flaking on the straps and the rear of the frame. This revolver rides in an original Heiser holster which appears to be contemporary with the revolver. This piece is mounted with stag grips. The stags were built by Pointer Products of Montobello CA. These grips have an oversize bi-lateral palm swelling. These were probably added in the 1950's. The revolver was built in the 1909-15 era. A nice example of a S&W rig that came out of the west. FFL or C&R
