Description:
This is a Pre-1964 Winchester Model 70 in .375 Magnum. The controlled round feed receiver has a matte blued finish, with some minor marks and scratches on it from handling, wear, and use. The front and rear bridges of the receiver are drilled and tapped for scope bases. The left rear bridge of the receiver is drilled and tapped for an iron rear sight. The rifle currently has a Pachmayr tip to side, side mounted scope mount with a Lyman All Weather 2 1/2 power scope installed. The barrel has a hooded front sight, and a twin folding leaf rear sight. The bright blued finish on the barrel has some minor finish wear, from handling and use. The Walnut stock has sharp checkering in the wrist and forearm, along with a semi gloss finish. The semi gloss finish on the stock has small scratches, dings, and impressions from wear and use. The stock has been cut down, and a red Winchester rubber buttpad was installed.
