Description:

This Model was introduced in 1920 and discontinued in 1940.  It is chambered in the .300 Savage round and is standard in all respects with the 24" round barrel,  take down feature,  Savage logo serrated steel shotgun butt plate and varnished finish.  It features original Savage adjustable flat top sporting rear with white metal bead front in base intrgral with barrel.  Straight grip and no checkering.  Aside from the take down ring which is turning patina,  almost all of the original blue remains on both barrel and receiver. The beautiful highly grained walnut stock is near mint with a couple of minor bumps and no signs of any cracks anywhere,  not even the wrist.  Case colors on lever are brilliant.  It has the cartridge counter on left side.  The bore is flawless, perfect rifling and shiny thru out.  Mfg in 1934 and C&R eligible.  Forend and stock are numbered to the receiver. Wonderful pre war lever action.
