Pair of Continental Percussion Target pistols, .50 caliber (probably French). They are unmarked as to maker or proofs. Barrels are 8 1/2"" and guns are 15"" overall. Barrels have 95% original brown finish. Bores are rifled. Buttcaps are ebony. Overall condition is very good plus. Guns are numbered 1 and 2. Rear sight is adjustable. Metal parts are engraved. Nice pair of pistols. Reasonably priced.
