Adams & Co., 32 Finsbury Pavement, London "The Reliance" sidelock 12 Gauge built in 1881 with 29 inch SkI/M extractor damascus barrels with swamp rib and excellent bores measuring .735 on the right and .735 on the left. Choked .004 on the right and .018 on the left. Minimum wall thickness of .023 right and left. Chambers are 2 1/2" Birmingham nitro proof of 1922 and remains in proof. Barrels ring like a chime. Thomas Perkes roller cocker action patent of 1878. Reciever is silver and has been lightly brushed with 50% coverage fine scroll engraving which remains sharp and distinct. Intercepting sears. Automatic safety. Nicely figured straight grip buttstock which was previously shotened and original piece added back. LOP is 14 inches. It would go 14 3/8" with removal of extension and addition of 1" pad. DAC-1 1/2" DAH-2 1/2" Slight cast off. 6lb 11oz This is a lovely Vintager in very good mechanical condition. It was completely refurbished in 2011 by ACGG member Ed LaPour to include rejoining, lock overhaul, and nitre blue of action screws. Fresh barrel brown remains at 95%. Checkering recut. Well done stock refinish at 93% Will ship to your door in a nice Leg of Mutton case.
