Original World War One Colt model 1917 issue revolver in 45 A.C.P. All original finish with matching serial numbers including inside the stocks. Correct U.S. property marked barrel. Timing is excellent, and the bore is nice and shinny.
This Colt according to my internet search was delivered to the US Government May 4, 1918 as part of a monthly shipment of 2400 revolvers.
This is a great Colt with the Parkerized military finish showing very little use or holster wear. I give this Colt a very solid rate of 98% condition. This Colt will be a great addition to any serious Collector of World War One Weaponry.
