An original full two piece box of 56-46 Spencer Rim Fire Cartridges by the Union Metallic Cartridge Co. These post Civil War sporting cartridges for the Spencer were also known as No. 46 or 46/100. When Winchester bought the company in 1869 production of these cartridges ceased. Very rare to find a 56-46 Spencer Sporting Cartridge box in this condition.
