#4850 “Robin Hood” marked 32RF five shot spur triggered revolver …. probably this being a trade name of either Hopkins and Allen or Hood Firearms and made between 1875-1880. This excellent+ conditioned revolver retains 95-97% original nickel finish, excellent factory presentation style scroll engraving, and Ex.Fine walnut bird-head style grips. Very possibly was a gift by some admirer to a “soiled dove” in some cowtown brothel, or perhaps some card shark gamblers “5th Ace”. But whatever its history is, these small “Suicide Special” engraved and/or high conditioned pocket guns have still gotta be one of the best bargains in antique guns…where else can you buy an excellent condition presentation factory engraved revolver for under a couple of thousand bucks?? This little gem is many hundreds of dollars below that price. $695
