Inv. 5086 BSA Martini, Model 12/15, Caliber 22LR, Serial Number. P674XX. This is a 1955, last year of production gun and what beauty it is. It is an honest 97-98% original blue........
The cocking lever and breech block also retaining about 98% of the original case colors. There are no pits, rust or flaking anywhere............ The beautiful Parker Hale receiver sight has an unusual adjustable peep reticule. The dial for wind-age and elevation show no wear. The rear sight has a hole through into the receiver to allow a cleaning rod to pass through it. ............
Very clever indeed............ The Parker hale globe front sight has a removable insert. There is also an original Parker Hale brass front sight insert container attached to the bottom of the forearm. It contains 6 beautiful, different front sight inserts that appear to be unused. The walnut cheek piece stock and forearm retain at 98% of the lacquer with an occasional nick or ding...........
The only part of the that shows previous ownership is the bottom of the forearm which has four small filled screw holes which were for some kind of a palm rests. The barrel has not been drilled and tapped. The bore is factory new, you know, razor sharp, mirror bright with no sign of use.........
