It has a light weight 28” octagon barrel with a rail mounted rear sight and an excellent bore. It weighs 7.2 lbs. The stock features a through bolt from the butt. The stock has some minor chips along the edge of where the wood meets the metal and normal dings associated with its age. The action is very interesting as it has the full finger lever that snaps/locks in place, and I believe this reflects the influence of the American single shot rifle builders like Farrow and Ballard. Full finger levers were not common on German single shots. It is possible that this rifle may have been built for export to the US, but this particular rifle is NOT marked “Made in Germany”. Shoot as is or customize it into a new caliber. If you have any questions let me know. Credit cards add 3%, we offer a 3 day non-firing inspection period. Must ship to an FFL. Thanks for looking!
