This Winchester was made in 1927. This model was made between 1924 to 1932. There was around 20,500 of these guns produced. This one has the standard 24 inch barrel. The bore is bright and clean. The stock and forend retain the original finish and varnish. The wood and finish would rate a 97%. The barrel blue, magazine, and forend cap would also rate a 97%. The receiver would rate a 95%. The model 55 is a hard gun to find in this nice of condition or better. The take down feature is tight and has not been altered or adjusted in any way. The sights are original and the elevator is intact on the rear sight. This is a really nice clean original unaltered Winchester. Would look great in any serious collection. Curio&Relic BHKE F.
